The Third Convergence War
Prelude to War
Unlike the previous wars, which focused on territory and psychological warfare, the Third Convergence War (GSC 250s) was a war of liberation.
For over 5000 years, the Convergence had enslaved the Bravaxians, forcing them into agricultural labor and ritualistic sacrifice. The Convergence used Bravaxian flesh as a narcotic, treating them as a renewable resource.
When the Planetary League received distress signals from Bravaxian resistance groups, they launched a full-scale military campaign to eradicate Convergence rule.
Major Campaigns
1. The Bravaxian Uprising
- Underground Bravaxian factions, supported by League special forces, sabotaged Convergence supply lines.
- The League provided arms and training, escalating skirmishes into a full rebellion.
2. The Convergence Node Assault
- The League deployed cyberwarfare teams to disrupt Convergence Hive Nodes, fracturing their command structure.
- Several Convergence battlefleets were disabled mid-flight, allowing for quick victories.
3. The Final Assault: The Fall of the Grand Hatcheries
- The Grand Hatcheries of Bravaxia, where millions of Bravaxians were bred and slaughtered, were stormed by League forces.
- Brutal urban warfare raged for weeks, culminating in the total collapse of Convergence control.
Outcome and Final Defeat
- The Bravaxians were freed, but their culture had been permanently scarred by centuries of enslavement.
- The Convergence as a major power collapsed, with surviving members either retreating to deep space or merging with rogue factions like the Cult of Troniac.
