  • The Empire of 1,000,000 Suns

We are not alone. Long ago, another space-faring civilization rose up on the other side of the galaxy. They conquered and colonized a substantial swath of space around their home planet, but lost interest in exploration after reaching a certain size. Much like historical China, they were the first to discover many advanced technologies, yet only exploited them to a limited extent. The Empire of 1,000,000 Suns is large and diverse, and set into a rigid social order.

  • The Galactic Republic

Founded early in Era-2 by the remnants of the Planetary League, the Galactic Republic continually grew at the edge of the galaxy until bringing the galaxy together in the War of Galactic Unification. More than a republic, the Galactic Republic was also a mass-consciousness, unifying the minds of its citizens.

  • The Hand of Eris

The Hand of Eris was an anarchic and chaotic group that spread discord throughout the galaxy.

  • The Holy Empire of Man

Humanity's bastion for purity, piety, and power. The Holy Empire of Man enforced a strict order on the worlds of the galaxy, and those who stood in its way did not stand for long. The might of the Empire was matched only by its faith. The temples and cathedrals of the Empire overflowed with the throngs of the devout.

  • The Planetary League

Humanity's hope for peace, progress and prosperity. After worsening conditions on Earth, followed by a diaspora into the solar system, humanity united for the common goals of exploring and expanding through the galaxy.
