Terraforming
Most planets are not well suited to human life. When humans want to settle somewhere they usually have to do some adjusting of the environment to make the place hospitable. Since the E1MS was focused more on conquest than settling uninhabited worlds, humans were the first to fully develop most terraforming technologies.
- Atmospheric Conditioners
Structures used to alter the atmosphere of a planet.
Grabber TrucksGrabber trucks were large, self loading dumptrucks used in heavy mining and terraforming operations.
Gravity SatellitesSatellites used to modify the gravitational fields of the planet they are orbiting.
Heat MillsStructures used to warm the air and/or water of a planet.
Impact ShipsShips designed to collect and launch asteroids / comets to impact with a planet. Designed for terraforming, but later also used in warfare.
Negative Energy TechnologyThe generation and manipulation of negative energy fields is the basis of a number of advanced technologies, from spatial compression to artificial gravity.
Soil ProcessorsTerraforming tools used to make regolith or alien soil amenable to agriculture.
Tectonic StabilizersBig robotic platforms used in terraforming operations to reduce geological activity on a planet.
