The Convergence Wars
The Convergence Wars were a sequence of three major conflicts between the Planetary League and the Convergence during Era-1. These wars were driven by territorial disputes, technological conflicts, and the Convergence’s hostility toward civilizations that emitted high levels of electromagnetic interference.
While initially a series of skirmishes and psychological warfare, the wars escalated into full-scale battles, shaping the League’s military policies for centuries.

1st Convergence War (GSC 132–140)
The first war erupted when human settlers on New Promise inadvertently disrupted the Convergence hive-mind network. What began as abductions and psychological warfare escalated into open conflict. The war ended in GSC 140, after the Planetary League, alongside the newly discovered Dogarri, annihilated the Convergence’s main fleet at the Battle of Key Center.

The second war saw the Convergence return with mechanized terror weapons, including the Convergence Scout Walker. This time, they conducted direct planetary invasions and fleet battles, leading to a prolonged struggle across multiple systems. The League, now equipped with advanced defenses and counterintelligence measures, launched a decisive counteroffensive, forcing the Convergence back to the rim by GSC 201.

The final and most brutal conflict, the Third Convergence War, focused on the liberation of Bravaxia, a world where the Convergence had enslaved the Bravaxians for thousands of years. This war was a full-scale interstellar conflict, with League forces storming Convergence strongholds and dismantling their network of forced agricultural labor and bio-exploitation. The war ended with the near-total collapse of the Convergence as a major power.

Legacy
The Convergence Wars solidified the League’s dominance in interstellar space, marked the end of the Non-Interference Doctrine, and led to the formation of permanent military outposts along the Convergence’s former borders. Though the wars ended, scattered remnants of the Convergence persisted, some merging into rogue factions such as the Cult of Troniac.
